The GuidED program is a student lead study to help learners prepare for the national certification exam in midwifery. This course contains 9 recorded content reviews and 6 integrated case studies, as well as short lectures, charts, diagrams and other materials to help reinforce content. GuidED also contains short quizzes embedded within each module. Students can work through materials at their own pace. This course is a deeper dive into the 6 exam content areas for students that may need a more comprehensive review.
Preparing for midwifery certification? This is the place to start. This course reviews the 6 certification exam topics including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, primary care, and gynecology with a bonus module on pharmacology and diagnostic testing. In 13 lectures, faculty will discuss content and cases that relate to these areas with opportunities to enhance learning through incorporation of test taking strategies.
